Creating fun, social experiences to strengthen the service dog community.
The Service Dog Mixer Program creates fun, social experiences that bring the service dog community together. These events provide a space for users, puppy raisers, trainers, organizations and service dog enthusiasts to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships.

Raising and training service dogs can be an isolating experience. Users and puppy raisers often face unique challenges that only others in the community truly understand. The Mixer Program breaks down that isolation by creating regular opportunities for the community to come together, share stories, and support one another.
In 2018 we tested out the mixer concept and it confirmed that these type of events can spark collaboration between organizations personnel, users, owner trainers, dog trainers and puppy raisers.
Community is everything. When users and raisers feel supported, they perform better. When organizations collaborate, the entire industry grows. The Mixer Program is the social glue that holds the service dog community together.
